Universal Music is in search of an aspiring filmmaker to come up with a “treatment” for a music video for their progressive classical musical act, ERA. Like the band Gorillaz, ERA is a faceless concept rather than a band or solo artist and Universal are looking for a concept video with new creative characters and plot. To participate, submit either your film/animation reel or an initial treatment of the Ameno video to be considered.
If selected, you will be asked to develop your treatment into the completed official music video, which will be premiered at a central London cinema, aired on MTV, VH1, other music channels as well as through Era’s online networks.
The selected filmmaker will receive up to $10,000 of filmmaking equipment and will have worked with the World’s largest record company. In addition, $5,000 will be distributed between the remaining submitting filmmakers according to the overall percentage of votes for their submission.
